Eighteen months of silence from the ex-OpenAI CTO's lab. The receipt: "Interaction Models" — real-time speech translation that talks over you instead of waiting, pause-aware turn-taking, simultaneous tool calls while it speaks, time-aware ("end this in 4 minutes"), and a posture coach that tells you to sit up straight. Limited research preview "in the coming months." Wider release later this year. Not a benchmark bump. Actually new.
📱 Codex now lives in your pocket
OpenAI lets Codex run from a phone, talking to the agent on your desktop over a QR-code pairing. Start a job at your Mac, walk away, steer it from the toilet. Apartment-sized agents, broom-closet attention spans — finally portable.

📲 Android gets the Gemini graft
A Gemini button in Chrome on Android that already knows what page you're on. Snap a flyer, Gemini drops you into Expedia at checkout. Browse an event, ask it to "reserve parking with SpotHero," and it does. One-tap form fill from your passport. Whisper Flow's "um" cleanup, now native to the OS. Google IO is next week. This is the warmup.

Fifteen years after the Chromebook, Google is "rethinking the laptop again." Translation: ChromeOS + Gemini baked into every input surface. Calling a category that already exists a new category. Marketing.

💸 Anthropic giveth +50% Claude Code limits, taketh away with credits
Two announcements, one shrug. Through July 13: weekly Claude Code limits up 50%. From June 15: subscriptions become credit pools, billed at API rates once exhausted. The community noticed the second one. $200/month of "credits" burns down in a few heavy-use hours if you're driving it from OpenClaw or Hermes. Framed as flexibility. Lands as a nerf.

Was meant to be an 8-hour livestream. Brett Adcock said keep it running. 43,000 packages flipped and labelled. The motion is mundane — pick, rotate, place. The endurance is the point. Humanoids don't need to be impressive yet. They need to not stop.
