🔓 Anthropic's Claude Code Source Code Spills Onto the Internet

A stray .map file dumped roughly 500,000 lines of Claude Code source onto the public web. Cloned repos hit 50K stars within hours, exposing a background daemon called Chyros, a three-layer memory architecture, and references to a next-gen "Mythos" model. Anthropic called it a packaging error, not a breach. Then came the DMCA takedowns. The genie's out.

💸 OpenAI Raises $122 Billion, Then Kills Sora

Largest single raise in corporate history. $852 billion valuation, $2 billion monthly revenue, Microsoft still in. Buried at the bottom: a "unified AI super app" merging ChatGPT, Codex, browsing, and agents. Meanwhile Sora got the axe — it was bleeding a million dollars a day, users cratered below 500K, and a billion-dollar Disney deal collapsed. Six months. The video dream lives on. Just not here.

Gmail's AI Inbox prioritises mail, suggests to-dos, and summarizes topics via Gemini 3 — beta, US only, $250/month. Perplexity's Computer for Taxes drafts federal returns on official IRS forms and audits pro-prepared ones. Slack gets 30 upgrades — reusable AI skills, MCP client, native CRM, a desktop agent watching outside Slack. Your inbox gets a brain. Your wallet gets lighter.

🚗 ChatGPT Rides Shotgun, and OpenAI Buys the Talk Show

ChatGPT lands in Apple CarPlay — voice-only, tap to talk, spoken through the speakers, iOS 26.4 required. Now your commute has a copilot that hallucinates directions. Elsewhere, OpenAI acquired TBPN, the daily three-hour founder-led business show, reporting to political operative Chris Lehane. They promise editorial independence. The company building AGI now owns the show that covers the company building AGI.

🛒 Physical AI Comes for Cars and Carts

GM now designs vehicles with AI — hand sketches to 360-degree 3D models in hours, a virtual wind tunnel, drag estimates in a minute, ML-suggested structural reinforcements. The 5-7 year car timeline is compressing. Meanwhile Instacart's Caper Cart bolts cameras, sensors, scales, and an Nvidia Jetson onto your trolley to nudge you mid-shop. You wanted a cart. You got a salesperson on wheels.
